The contentious statement made by Davido about the Nigerian economy is defended by Kanayo

Despite musician Davido's contentious comments about Nigeria's economy, veteran Nollywood actor Kanayo O Kanayo has defended him.

"It is not cool back home," Davido said during his US appearance on 'The Big Homies House' podcast, drawing attention to the difficulties in Nigeria, according to FGNEWBLOG.

The financial sector is collapsing.

This was spoken by Davido while he was warning African-Americans not to go to Nigeria.

Many Nigerians were offended by his comments, and they have since been the target of criticism. Some have even called for an apology from him.

After the singer's remarks sparked uproar, Kanayo defended his right to free expression, saying that Davido was trying to represent the plight of Nigerians struggling economically.

In an Instagram video, Kanayo remarked, "@davido spoke his mind, isn't it?" Honor his perspective as well.

Even though the Adelek family can eat forever, it would be sinful for them to think everything is well just because they are.

"Get una to stop picking on Davido for the remark he said. He spoke his mind and it was made in good faith; it's just free speech.

Those in charge must now exert more effort to improve Nigeria for the rest of us.

"Some people think he should say sorry, but why? Even our detractors want the best for us.

Davido is a voice for the hungry in Nigeria.
