Erik ten Hag, manager of Manchester United, will not start Casemiro in Saturday's early match against Southampton.
United lost 3-0 to Liverpool before the international break, with Casemiro culpable for both of Liverpool's goals.
Christian Eriksen will start in his place against the Saints.
"He has had a good pre-season, in training he has had very good performances," Ten Hag explained to TNT Sports when asked why Eriksen is beginning. Well, he's off to a good start.
Ten Hag stated, "Manuel, we have to integrate into the team," in reference to Manuel Ugarte's benching.
"He has only been to two sessions so far; integrating all of his treatments will take time."
