Premier League: Arteta's reaction to Arsenal's 1-0 victory against Tottenham

An "unbelievable" 1-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur has been proclaimed by Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta.

Captain Martin Odegaard, Mikel Merino, and Declan Rice were not on the Gunners squad that faced the opposition.

Also left out of the starting lineup for the encounter were Oleksandr Zinchenko and Riccardo Calafiori.

However, Arsenal secured victory with a second-half header from Gabriel Magalhaes.

When asked about the event's timing in our history, Arteta stated, "It's unbelievable." He was speaking to BBC Match of the Day.

Several blows were dealt to us following the international break. The team's reaction was absolutely amazing.

The team's level of maturity was evident.

It becomes quite challenging for them once they reach the latter third due to their established framework.

Because key players were out with an injury, we had to adjust quickly. I'm overjoyed.

To adapt, we had to bring in new players with various skills.

I was wondering what they would do with the ball, and we ended up doing it.

Not always to everyone's liking. They make a great complement.

We performed admirably when it came time to defend in deeper areas. Although there is room for improvement, this is yet another major triumph for us.

Take pleasure in it; I am aware of the feelings our fans will have about it.
