Manchester United have given Manuel Ugarte Jadon Sancho's number 25 shirt since he is nearly sure to join with Chelsea permanently.
On Sunday, Ugarte was formally introduced by the Red Devils.
United paid £51 million to sign the Uruguayan midfielder away from Paris Saint-Germain.
"The project here is extremely exciting," Ugarte added.
I play for an ambitious club, and the same is true of myself.
If my teammates need me, I will give them my all. We will battle for trophies and get United to where they deserve to be as a team.
Although Sancho is only with the Blues for a season on loan, Chelsea is under contract to permanently acquire him for a sum of approximately £25 million.
