The 2024 Miss Universe Nigeria pageant was won by Chidimma Adetshina.
According to FGNEWSBLOG, Chidimma was coerced into leaving the South African beauty contest.
The 23-year-old law student accepted the invitation to compete and travelled to Nigeria.
After facing xenophobic criticism over her nationality, she controversially withdrew from Miss South Africa 2024.
Announcing Adetshina's victory at Saturday night's big finale at Eko Hotels & Suites in Lagos was Guy Murray-Bruce, President of Silverbird Group, the competition's organizers.
In the very competitive event, which featured 25 players, the victor represented Taraba State.
