Algeria coach warns that Super Falcons match at WAFCON 2024 would be intense

The match against the Nigerian Super Falcons would be a challenging test for Algeria, according to head coach Farid Benstiti.

On Sunday (today), the Fennecs will play their final group match of the 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations against Nigeria.

By the end of their first two matches, the North Africans had accumulated four points.

If Algeria wants to ensure their spot in the quarterfinals, they need to win their match against the Super Falcons.

"A contest like this helps a team improve. "We will have achieved a new level if we are able to cause trouble for Nigeria," Benstiti told CAFonline.

Last year, in a pair of friendly matches, the Super Falcons prevailed against Algeria.

The Justine Madugu squad defeated the North Africans 4-0 in their second friendly after winning the previous match 2-0.
