Should emulate Boko Haram's Shekau - Bulama Bukarti - Turji Bello, Nigeria's greatest danger

According to security expert Bulama Bukarti, the most serious danger to the safety and development of Nigeria comes from the legendary bandit Turji Bello.

Bukarti demanded that the security services apprehend Turji and his terrorist group.

In an X post, Bukarti compared Turji to the late Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau and said that Turji had intimidated him.

If the security analyst is to be believed, Turji will meet the same fate as Shekau very soon.

The purpose of Turji's attack is to scare me, but it will backfire, he wrote. I have been the target of such threats before; the vicious Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau, did it multiple times.

I am determined to stand firm, just as I did then. With God's help, Turji will follow shortly after Shekau.

Killing, abducting, raping, robbing, and enslaving innocent Nigerians is something that terrorists like Turji can get away with.

Now, encouraged by the government's lack of action, he goes after peace, justice, and good governance advocates like me.

The Nigerian government must step up its military campaign against the heinous terrorist group Turji.

They pose the greatest danger to the safety and development of Nigeria right now and should be dealt with as such. I will keep doing what I can to help get these vile criminals out of our nation.

Turji recently made headlines after asserting that he had taken two Mine Resistant Vehicles (MRVs) from the Nigerian military.

The military, on the other hand, denied Turji's accusations, citing inclement weather and topography as the reasons for demobilizing the vehicles.

The infamous terrorist had already acknowledged taxing Moriki Town in Zamfara State for N50 million during this time.
