Okafor accuses Rangers of trying to force a group stage match in the CAF Champions League

After a narrow victory over Sagrada Esperanca of Angola, Rangers forward Onyekachi Okafor urged his teammates to push for CAF Champions League group stage qualification.

In Friday's first leg of the CAF Champions League second preliminary round tie at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, the Flying Antelopes pulled off a close 1-0 victory over the Angolans.

Okafor challenged his colleagues to step up their game in Angola for the second leg match.

At Angola's 11 de Novembro Stadium next Sunday, Rangers and Sagrada Esperenca will square off.

The defending champions of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) must win this match in order to advance to the next round.

On X, Okafor wrote, "It's far from done.

"Never say die; we will push until the end."
