In anticipation of their match against Plateau United on matchday two, Shooting Stars have asked for the support of the supporters.
In Ibadan, Babatunde Olaniyan Akoro, the club chairman, made the call.
In order to help the squad win, Akoro urged the fans to turn out in large numbers.
On Sunday, the Lekan Salami Stadium will host a match between Shooting Stars and Plateau United.
"Let us begin by expressing our heartfelt gratitude to our loyal supporters for their unwavering support throughout the past season.
Their contributions greatly benefited our team," Akoro told the media covering Shooting Stars.
We were not surprised that they were named the season's top fans because they were really outstanding. Properly merited.
Once again, we're on the move this season, and all we can do is ask for more of the same from last.
As of this coming Sunday's home match against Plateau United, we are counting on their attendance and encouragement.
