American rapper and radio host Isaac Freeman, better known by his stage name Fatman Scoop, has passed away.
The tour manager who broke the news of his death on Saturday expressed his "lost for words" reaction.
Video of Scoop's breakdown and subsequent rush to the hospital went viral on social media on Friday at Hamden Town Center Park in Connecticut.
At his last performance, he climbed the stage with difficulty and then vanished from view, prompting medics to rush over and try to revive him.
